Following Google has launched Google Android based phone, Microsoft is rumored to working on a project called Pink. Microsoft immediately announced pink handphone. Pink phone allegedly event will be launched in the Mobile World Congress in February 2010.

Not much news about the project that was pointed out that Pink will be Microsoft’s own brand mobile phone. Mary Joe Foley of ZDNet speculated Pink mobile phone on the project will be launched in the event the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona next month.

“Pink is a good code name for premium mobile services and mobile phones that will target Windows users share a teenager or a 20-an age,” according to Foley.

What remains unclear is whether the phone will run Windows Mobile 7. But Foley believes that Microsoft will run Windows Mobile 6.x and will include premium services Pink.
