LG releases new Windows Smartphone
LG Electronics is a manufacturer’s third-largest mobile phone said it will launch three Windows based smartphones in the next few weeks.
The cell phone will be the first Sony Ericsson handset using the operating system Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5, with features easier web navigation.
Motorola has signed an agreement with Microsoft in February in which Windows Mobile will become the main platform smartphone South Korean company made it. Sony Ericsson will launch a total of 13 phone Windows in the world at the end of 2010.
Microsoft hopes Windows Mobile operating system can compete with Symbian, a platform system used by the largest mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, and is used by two-thirds of smartphones that have the computer capability in it.
LG is a member of the Symbian Foundation has also developed a model based on Google Android software.
